A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested after someone stole cash from a victim outside McDonald’s in Salisbury.

Police say a known suspect pinned someone against a pillar outside the establishment on Winchester Street on Monday, December 12 at around 4pm.

The suspect then stole cash from their pockets.

“A 12-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and he remains on bail pending further enquiries,” a Salisbury Police spokesperson said.

“There were a lot of people in the area when this incident took place and we believe part of it may have been recorded on a mobile phone.”
