Moby is searching for his fur-ever home

A THREE-year-old Patterdale cross called Moby is looking for his fur-ever family.

The gorgeous boy is bursting with energy, charm and love to give to his new family and he is currently waiting at Dogs Trust Salisbury Rehoming Centre.

Known for his silly antics, Moby loves toys and placing his little paws on his favourite humans to ask for attention.

Whether it’s a game of tug or a good scratch behind the ears, Moby is always ready to play.

Although he enjoys walks and adventures with other dogs, he would prefer to be the only dog at home, where he can enjoy peace and quiet and a cosy spot to snooze after a fun-filled day.

Moby thrives on structure and enjoys training sessions, so an adult-only home that can offer him consistency, enrichment, and time will help him shine. He has already mastered plenty of cues and tricks.

He is eager to show them off and learn more in his new home.

Anyone who is after a loyal dog with lots of energy and can offer a calm, stable home environment, Moby might be the perfect match.

Claire Rowe, Rehoming Centre manager at Dogs Trust Salisbury, said: “Moby is a really fun and clever dog who absolutely loves his toys and a good run around outside.

“His energy is infectious, and he’d make a rewarding addition to a family willing to continue his training and provide the mental stimulation that Patterdales need.”

Moby is lovingly known as a Dogs Trust ‘underdog’, a term used by the charity for some of the dogs who have been waiting for their forever home for more than six months.

These dogs often require additional training, ongoing veterinary care, or have specific rehoming needs. Unfortunately, some are also simply overlooked.
