FIRE crews were called to a large crop fire at Harbridge Green near Fordingbridge on Sunday (August 24).
Teams from Ringwood, Fordingbridge, Beaulieu, St Mary’s, Hightown, Fareham, Eastleigh, alongside teams from Forset & Wiltshrie Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene just after 3pm.
A 300m by 80m area of fields were caught up in the blaze.
“The electricity board attended the scene in Harbridge Green due to a number of damage electrical pylons,” a Hampshire & Isle of Wight spokesperson said.
