POLICE have arrested a man following an alleged sexual assault in an Amesbury shop.
The force put out an appeal for information along with a CCTV image of a man they wanted to speak to after it received a report that a man had sexually assaulted a woman in the B&M store on London Road at around 9.55am on September 24.
A spokesperson said: “Following our earlier appeal to identify a man in connection with an alleged sexual assault at B&M in Amesbury on September 24.
“We have arrested a man in connection with this incident. Thank you to everyone who supported our appeal.”
