SPECIAL Constabulary volunteers contributed an incredible 2,846 hours across the county last month.
Eighty volunteers gave their time, supporting officers, responding to incidents and helping to keep Wiltshire safe.
Among their duties, they supported police with 54 arrests, conducted 38 vehicle stops, managed 53 road traffic collisions, cleared 20 breakdowns, and seized six vehicles.
A police spokesman said: “These hours create real frontline capacity for Wiltshire Police and for our volunteers, it’s an opportunity to gain genuine policing experience and the chance to make a visible difference in their communities.”
