GRANTS worth thousands of pounds are up for grabs for deserving community groups and projects in Amesbury.
Non-profit, charitable and volunteer organisations have until January 31 to apply for funding worth between £100 to £1,000, with one initiative in with the chance of securing £5,000.
Groups who can show they will benefit the town by providing a service, enhancing the quality of life, improving the environment or promoting it in a positive way are encouraged to apply.
Amesbury Town Council is handing out a total of £14,500 from April next year to March 2027.
Applicants must submit a completed form along with full details of the project or activity, a copy of their last year end accounts and demonstration of a clear need for funding.
Evidence is also required that applicants have sought funding elsewhere and are not asking the town council to be the full donor. Those who have pursued match funding will be looked on favourably.
A detailed business or project plan is required for new initiatives.
Application forms can be obtained online via https://www.amesburytowncouncil.gov.uk/…/grants-round…/ and should be emailed to townclerk@amesburytowncouncil.gov.uk
