HEAVENLY voices rang out at a Salisbury care home recently as the community came together to celebrate Christmas with a carol concert.

Staff and residents at Milford House Care Home got into the seasonal spirit by inviting locals to join them singing festive favourites, led by Kate Edgar Choirs.

Mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies were prepared by head chef Rebecca Butler to get everyone feeling merry.

Deputy manager Juliana Santos said: “We are so lucky to have such a fantastic community here at Milford House. It was lovely to see our residents singing along with the amazing choir.

“Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.”
