POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s suffered serious facial injuries in Salisbury.

Shortly before 11pm last Friday (December 19), an incident took place on Devizes Road after two patrons had left the Royal Oak in a white Toyota.

Officers are asking for any information relating to an incident that happened in the pub car park or anybody who witnessed the vehicle driving down Devizes Road in the direction of Fugglestone Red Roundabout.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
