A CARE home in Salisbury is throwing open its doors this month for an open day involving delicious homemade cake.

Milford House Care Home in Milford Mill Road will welcome the community on Saturday (January 24) between 10am and 4pm to meet the team and take a tour.

Senior general manager Sarah Hayman said: “I’m excited about welcoming new visitors and existing friends of the home to our open day.

“Looking for care can be a little bit daunting, but our friendly team will do all we can to provide all of our guests with the guidance and support they may need, and answer all of their questions, big or small.

“Our open day is a great chance to discover our inviting lounges and enjoy home cooked food – hope to see you all there!”

Milford House Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, providing residential and nursing care for 70 residents from respite care to long term stays.
