A MAN who was seriously injured in a crash in Verwood just before Christmas has died.
At around 5.40pm on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, a collision between a black Mini Cooper, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a BMW X3 occurred on Ringwood Road, near the junction with St Stephen’s Lane.
The Vauxhall driver, a female aged in her 50s, sustained minor injuries, and the BMW driver was uninjured.
The driver of the Mini – a local man aged in his 70s – was taken to hospital with serious injuries and sadly died in hospital on Monday (January 19).
His family has been informed.
Police Sergeant Paul Hind of the roads policing team said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died following this collision.
“We owe it to them to conduct a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this incident, and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.”
