INCREASED patrols have been carried out in parts of Salisbury following a spate of vehicle break-ins.
PC McHoul, from the Salisbury Response policing team, has been conducting foot patrols in the Rowbarrow and Harnham areas after several reports of vehicles being targeted.
Residents are being urged to take extra precautions to protect their cars and belongings.
Police are advising drivers not to leave valuables inside unattended vehicles and to ensure cars are always locked when left alone.
Anyone who discovers their vehicle has been tampered with, or has had items stolen, is asked to contact Wiltshire Police by calling 101 or submitting an online crime report.
