POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in a busy Salisbury street.
Wiltshire Police say the incident happened at around 5.15pm on Sunday (March 22) on Castle Street.
A man reportedly approached the woman and attempted to sell her perfume. When she declined, he followed her before patting her bottom and checking her pockets, then walking away.

The suspect is described as wearing a cap, a black coat and jeans, and was carrying a bag. Officers believe he had been in a nearby betting shop shortly before the incident.
Police are carrying out a number of enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage from the area, as they work to identify the man involved.
Officers are urging anyone who may have seen the incident, or who has information that could assist the investigation, to come forward.
