Police hunt three men after burglary raids

POLICE have released images of three men they want to trace following a suspected burglary and attempted break-in in the New Forest area.

Officers investigating the incidents in Fordingbridge and Ringwood believe the men pictured could assist with their enquiries.

The first incident happened at around 9pm on Sunday, March 1, when three men reportedly attempted to burgle a property on Mockbeggar Lane, Ringwood.

It is believed they may have been disturbed by a CCTV camera before gaining entry.

Just hours later, at approximately 2.30am on Monday, March 2, a second incident was reported at an address on Ringwood Road, Fordingbridge.

Three men are said to have been involved in a burglary in which tools worth around £1,000 were stolen.

Police have issued descriptions of the individuals they would like to speak to.

The first man is described as white, wearing a balaclava-style face covering along with light-coloured jacket and trousers, gloves, and carrying a torch.

The second man is described as white with stubble, wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up and sleeves rolled up, gloves and lighter-coloured trainers.

The third man is also described as white, wearing a face covering, black gloves with a reflective strip across the knuckles, and light-coloured clothing with dark writing across the chest beginning with “ZA”.

A spokesperson said: “We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or report online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting the relevant incident numbers.

Police are urging residents to remain vigilant following the incidents.
