DRIVERS are being warned of disruption after a fallen tree blocked the A27 east of Whiteparish in both directions.
Emergency teams are currently working to clear the road alongside partner agencies, but motorists are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
The obstruction has caused the road to become impassable while the tree is removed.
It is not yet known how long the closure will remain in place.
Road users travelling between Whiteparish and surrounding villages are advised to allow extra time for journeys.
