POLICE are appealing for help to identify a person they want to speak to following an assault on a member of staff at Tesco in Salisbury city centre.

The incident happened at the Tesco store in Castle Street shortly before 2pm on Saturday, April 18.

Wiltshire Police have released an image of a person they would like to trace as part of their enquiries into the incident, which reportedly involved an assault on a staff member.

Officers are now asking the public to help identify the individual.

Anyone who recognises the person pictured, or who believes it may be them, is asked to contact PC Fry by emailing 2435@wiltshire.police.uk.
