Wilton Carnival names four beneficiaries for 2026 fundraising

WILTON Carnival has announced the four organisations set to benefit from its 2026 fundraising efforts.

This year’s selected causes are Entrain Space, Wilton School, Wilton FC and Seeds 4 Success, with each group to receive support from surplus funds raised through the annual community event.

Organisers have said the carnival continues to play an important role in supporting charities and voluntary groups at a time when many are facing increased financial pressures.

Over the past five years, the event has donated a total of £13,434.05 to a wide range of causes across Wilton and Salisbury, including food support services, youth groups, schools and disability organisations.

The carnival committee said they are proud of the impact the carnival continues to have locally, thanks to the support of residents, volunteers and businesses who help make the annual event possible.

The 2026 carnival will take place on Saturday 4 July, promising an ‘Out of This World’ themed day of entertainment, parades and community celebration.

Further details about this year’s chosen causes and how funds will be used are expected to be shared in the coming weeks as preparations continue for the summer event.
