MORE than 1,000 businesspeople gathered for the relaunched New Forest Business Show, with organisers hailing it as the biggest and most successful event in its history.
Held at the New Forest Showground, the event welcomed more than 120 exhibitors, who showcased everything from products and services to innovative businesses from across the region.
Bathed in sunshine, the show created a lively atmosphere that organisers say highlighted the strength of the New Forest’s business community.
Chair of the New Forest Business Partnership (NFBP) Matthew Lawson said: “The New Forest Business Show was everything we dreamed it would be and then some. To every one of our 120 exhibitors, thank you.
“You showed up, you shone and you made this the most impressive array of local business talent we have ever put on display.
“To the more than 1,000 businesspeople who walked through the marquees, thank you for coming, for connecting, for supporting and for making the atmosphere buzz all day long.”
He also paid tribute to the volunteers behind the event, adding: “None of this happens without our extraordinary NFBP volunteer team, who gave their time, energy and dedication before, during and after the show.
“We are deeply and genuinely grateful.”
Following this year’s success, planning is already underway for the 2027 event.
Businesses that exhibited this year, along with those considering taking part for the first time, are being encouraged to register their interest early.
Matthew added: “The New Forest Business Show next year is going to be extraordinary. Watch this space.”
