A 13-YEAR-OLD boy and a 16-year-old girl are among people arrested in connection with an incident that saw a man and a woman assaulted by a gang of youths in Salisbury.
The incident unfolded at around 11.15pm last night (July 6), police said, when a man and a woman, in their 40s, were followed to the taxi rank by a group of youths who assaulted them.
“When the victims got inside the taxi, they were further assaulted by the youths, resulting in injuries,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have footage of what happened.
“So far, a 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, criminal damage and affray, a 16-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of ABH and affray and a 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill.
“Two of the youths remain in custody and one has been released on bail pending further enquiries.”
