A STRETCH of Amesbury High Street will close in the evening for up to five days next week.
The closure, between 7pm and midnight from August 21, is to allow Wiltshire Council workers to carry out “Bobcat patching works”.
It will see the High Street closed between Salisbury Street and Fairfax Close, with a diversion put in place.
An alternative route will be signposted via High Street, The Centre, Smithfield Street, Salisbury Road and Salisbury Street.
“Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works,” a council notice said.
