Appeal after counterfeit Scottish £50 note allegedly used in Amesbury pub

A COUNTERFEIT Scottish £50 note was allegedly used to make a purchase in The Bell pub in Amesbury last month.

Police want to identify a man in connection with the incident.

The alleged incident took place at about 7.45pm on June 12.

An Amesbury Police spokesperson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the person in this image.”
