A CRASH near Amesbury saw two people taken to hospital with “potentially life-changing” injuries.
A Volkswagen Transporter and a Harley Davidson crashed on the A360 between Longbarrow Roundabout and the Stonehenge Visitor Centre at around 11.20am yesterday (May 11).
Wiltshire Police said the motorcycle rider – a man in his 60s – and the pillion passenger – a woman in her 70s – were taken to hospital for their injuries.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
The road was closed in both directions to allow for enquires to take place and the recovery of the vehicles.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to get in touch by calling the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting log 114 of 11/05.
