Boy – just one year old – dies in Amesbury car crash

A ONE-year-old boy has sadly died following a three-car crash in Amesbury last month.

A Skoda Karoq, a Peugeot 208 and a Volvo V70 all crashed on the eastbound carriageway on the A303 in Amesbury at around 5.30pm on March 28, police said.

Four others were injured in the collision – which police previously identified as a 20-year-old woman, a five-year-old boy and a 70-year-old man.

Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family of the child who has died at this difficult time.

“We would ask that their privacy is respected.”

The force is now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch with the collision investigation team on 01225 694597 using reference 220 of 28 March.
