Burglary at Laverstock school

WYVERN St Edmund’s School in Laverstock was targeted by would-be thieves at the weekend.

Police were made aware of a burglary in progress at the school on Sunday, November 24 at around 6pm.

When officers arrived at the scene the suspects were no longer there.

Police say property at the school was damaged but no items were taken.

“Three young men were seen acting suspiciously in the area,” a Salisbury Police spokesperson said.

“One wearing a black coat with grey tracksuit bottoms, one wearing a blue coat with dark trousers and another wearing a green coat with grey/blue trousers and a red bag.

“If anyone knows any further details regarding this incident, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number of 54240138893.”
