RESIDENTS at a Wilton care home got busy over Easter with a range of activities.
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Wilton Place marked the Easter period with a host of events, including holy communion, crafts, egg hunts with visiting children, hot cross buns and quizzes.
They also tucked in to an Easter meal of roast lamb followed by a traditional simnel Easter cake prepared by the home’s head chef, Hayley Dibden.
General manager at Wilton Place, Antoinette Roberts, said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter. It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs and seeing the children enjoying the egg hunt. It’s really been an eggs-cellent few days.”
Joyce Kinsey, a resident at Wilton Place, added: “It has been so lovely to spend time with the family this Easter, I really enjoyed spending time with my grandchildren and great grandchildren during the egg hunt.”
