BUS timetables in Salisbury and across Wiltshire are changing over Christmas and the new year.
People using the buses are being urged to check before they head out over the festive period, with travel firms issuing updated timetables.
Wiltshire Council cabinet member for transport, Cllr Caroline Thomas, said: “The local bus companies have informed us that their timetables will change over the Christmas and new year holiday period.”
She said people can plan journeys and check timetables via the council’s Connecting Wiltshire website, or by accessing bus companies’ websites or apps.
They can also call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 (calls cost 12p per minute plus network extras).
“With most single fares still costing £2 or less, the bus is an option I would encourage everyone to consider when Christmas shopping, visiting friends and family or going out to celebrate,” she added.
