A SALISBURY-BASED spa firm is aiming to open up new opportunities for UK installers after striking a deal to bring a European commercial range to the market.

Catalina Spas Ltd recently announced a new partnership with Spanish manufacturer Aquavia Spa, becoming the official UK distributor for its commercial spa range.

The move is designed to make it easier for spa and pool companies to branch into larger-scale projects, including hotels, holiday parks and residential developments.

Aquavia’s products are manufactured in Spain and include a wide range of in-ground spa options, from semi-commercial acrylic models to fully commercial overflow systems.

The company also produces tiled and stainless steel spas for more bespoke or high-specification schemes.

A key feature of the range is its Compact Skid Pack system – a pre-assembled unit that integrates key plant components into a single setup.

The aim is to simplify installation, reduce time on site and remove some of the complexity that can deter firms from taking on commercial work.

Stephen Crabb, managing director at Catalina Spas Ltd, said the partnership could help more businesses step into the sector.

“We know that many spa and pool companies are keen to move into commercial projects but are often put off by complexity,” he explained. “This range changes that.

“With strong margins, high-quality products, and simple installation via the Compact Skid Pack systems, it’s a really accessible way for trade partners to grow their business.”

The company says it will work closely with trade partners, offering ongoing support alongside product supply as firms look to expand into the commercial spa market.

The agreement marks a significant step in increasing the availability of competitively priced commercial spa solutions in the UK, while potentially widening access to a growing sector for installers who may previously have been put off by technical challenges.
