A MAN has admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a crash on the A303 near Bulford that left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 5.50pm on Saturday, May 23, after a Toyota Yaris and a BMW R1250 motorcycle, both travelling eastbound, were involved in a collision.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
Muhammad Umair, 30, of Sandhurst, appeared at Swindon Crown Court yesterday (May 25), where he pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The court heard the collision happened on the A303 near Bulford.
Umair, a Pakistani national, was remanded into custody and is due to return to Swindon Crown Court for sentencing on June 26.
The condition of the injured motorcyclist has not been updated.
