Elderly man made “inappropriate comments” to girl, 15, in Salisbury

AN elderly man made “inappropriate comments” to a teenage girl on a Salisbury street.

The incident infolded on the A360, just off St Paul’s Roundabout, at around 7pm on Tuesday evening (April 30).

Police said the 15-year-old girl was “approached by an elderly male making inappropriate comments, leaving her feeling shaken and uncomfortable”.

The male is described as around 60 to 65, with grey receding hair and grey stubble. He was wearing a multi-coloured trousers and long black coat.

“The Salisbury Reds bus (R1) was passing as this incident took place, and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash cam footage to please get in touch,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.

“It is also believed a similar incident took place at the same location on April 27 where a white van stopped to check on a female.”
