A HAY bale caught fire in a field in Salisbury on Sunday night (June 11).
Firefighters from the city were called to Devizes Road at around 9.45pm amid reports of ‘hay bales on fire’.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said only one bale was found to be alight, with firefighters putting out the blaze using two hose reel jets and beaters.
