A FORMER Wiltshire pub has been given a striking new lease of life after being transformed into a state-of-the-art dental and wellbeing centre.
The Stag in Charlton All Saints has undergone a year-long renovation, converting the Grade II listed building into a fully compliant clinical space while preserving its historic character.
The site has now officially reopened as The Stag Dental and Wellbeing Centre and is welcoming patients.
The extensive redevelopment has seen major upgrades behind the scenes, including new internal layouts, enhanced fire safety measures and specialist installations to support modern dental care, from diagnostic imaging to decontamination facilities.

The extensive redevelopment has created a modern practice.
Damon Saddler, group projects and hospitality manager at Larasian, said: “It has been a highly collaborative project, and the result is a facility that preserves the heritage of the building while providing a safe efficient and modern environment for clinical care.
“Early thoughts were that we were going to be reopening a pub but with The Stag Dental on board earlier in the process, it meant we could deliver a bespoke design and build designed to suit their clinical needs.”
Working alongside architects, contractors and specialist suppliers, the team carefully adapted the historic structure to meet the technical demands of a modern practice, including new mechanical systems, air handling units and dedicated spaces for advanced dental equipment.

Now, led by co-founder Becci Morris, the centre is aiming to offer more than traditional dentistry, combining clinical care with a range of wellbeing services under one roof.
She said: “We’ve created The Stag to be somewhere people genuinely look forward to visiting. It’s not just about dentistry – it’s about confidence, comfort and feeling truly cared for.
“Whether it’s maintaining a healthy smile or delivering a full smile transformation, everything we do is tailored to the individual.
“By bringing together high-quality dentistry with complementary wellbeing services, we’ve created a destination that supports our patients in a more complete way. “We’re incredibly proud to offer something different, an experience that feels personal, considered and designed around the needs of modern patients and families.”
Alongside dental treatments, the centre also offers services including physiotherapy, beauty treatments and hair styling, creating a new kind of health and wellbeing destination for the village.
