THE catering team at Salisbury District Hospital has been recognised for its culinary skills at the Hospital Caterers Association Regional Cooking Competition.
Team members earned a range of accolades across multiple categories, including pies, bread, street food and live cooking.
Pampha GT was awarded a silver medal for street food with a fish curry dish, as well as bronze for bread.
Joanna Chalke and Callan Howitt secured silver in the Ready, Steady, Chef! category, where they prepared and presented two courses: salmon with roasted green vegetables and lemon meringue pie.
Paul Norbury received a merit award for his chicken and parsnip curried pie.
The achievements have been described as a significant success for the hospital’s catering department, reflecting both skill and teamwork.
Colleagues also paid tribute to staff who remained on site, supporting those taking part in the competition.
