A VAN driver threw hot coffee and punched a victim’s face following a road rage incident on Devizes Road in Salisbury.

The incident took place at 6.44am on August 14 when a vehicle cut in front of another vehicle just down from the roundabout by Highbury Avenue.

The driver got out of the vehicle and threw a hot coffee over the victim and punched him in the face, requiring hospital treatment.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “It is believed the suspect was driving a silver Renault transit van.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, has CCTV or doorbell footage of the incident.”
