£7205.46 was raised this year – an almost £3,000 increase from the year before.

The six-day event brought joy to people of all ages in Salisbury, Amesbury and many surrounding villages.

The Santa Sleigh Run started in the Idmiston area many years ago and has expanded each year thanks to the team’s enthusiasm and passion to date.

Tamsin, community fundraiser of Salisbury Hospice Charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the whole team who contributed to making this year’s event so memorable and impactful.

“The dedication, hard work and tremendous enthusiasm shown by each and every one of them is truly admirable.

“Thank you again for making this year’s Santa Sleigh Run such a huge success and bringing much festive joy to the local community.”
