Kylo the fun loving Lurcher puppy needs a family

A PLAYFUL young dog with plenty of energy – and even more love to give – is waiting patiently for a new home in Salisbury.

Kylo, a lively Lurcher currently being cared for at Dogs Trust Salisbury, is described as a “bundle of puppy energy” who is ready to become part of a fun and active family.

Still young and eager to learn, Kylo is already impressing staff with his intelligence.

He has been “acing his training” and responds especially well to treats, making him an ideal companion for owners willing to continue building his skills.

But it’s not all work and no play.

Like many young dogs, Kylo thrives on activity and enjoys nothing more than a game with his favourite squeaky toys or a chance to let off steam with a burst of zoomies.

After a busy day, though, he’s just as happy to curl up for a cuddle.

He could live with older children and may also be able to share his home with another dog, making him a great option for families looking to add a four-legged friend to their household.

Staff at the rehoming centre say Kylo would do best in a home that can match his enthusiasm for life – ideally with access to a garden and plenty of opportunities for exercise and mental stimulation.

Dogs Trust Salisbury’s rehoming centre manager Claire Rowe said: “Young Kylo is excitable and a lot of fun.

“It would be great if his forever home had a garden for him to zoom around in and explore. An active family that provides plenty of mental stimulation would be perfect for this pooch.”

With his playful personality and affectionate nature, Kylo is sure to bring joy, laughter and companionship to the right home.

For now, he’s waiting – tail wagging – in the hope that someone will give him the fresh start he deserves.
