Midnight Walk returns to Salisbury – with glam rock twist

PEOPLE are being asked to dress to impress at this year’s Midnight Walk.

The popular walk is taking place on Saturday, April 24, and is raising money for Salisbury Hospice Charity.

The theme this year is glitter and glam – and participants are asked to grab their glam squad, rock those flamboyant wigs and jazzy jumpsuits, and dazzle the night away.

The walk starts and finishes at Five Rivers Leisure Centre. Participants can choose between a six-mile or 10-mile route through Salisbury’s city centre.

This event welcomes all walkers aged 12+ and abilities, including four-legged friends.

The evening will feature entertainment, surprises, and special moments of remembrance.

Walkers will have the opportunity to honour their loved ones by writing messages in the Memory Book and lighting a candle in their memory.

A Salisbury Hospice spokesperson said: “Every step you take and every pound you raise will make a profound difference for Salisbury Hospice.

“Rally your friends, family, and colleagues to support the future of hospice care in our community.

“Your contribution will help ensure that the hospice’s vital services continue to provide comfort and care to those who need it most.”

Aaron Whiffin, from Webbed Feet, who are sponsoring this year’s event, said: “We’re proud to support such a worthwhile charity, which is an integral part of the local community.”
