POLICE are urgently appealing for the driver of a blue Audi A1 to come forward after a cash which left a motorcyclist in a critical condition.

Emergency services were called to the incident, involving a Land Rover and a motorbike, on the A346 at Collingbourne Ducis yesterday (April 19) shortly after 10am.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to Southampton Hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing in relation to the collision, and we are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time who may have dash cam footage.

“We would be especially keen to hear from anyone travelling from the unnamed road leading onto the A346 past The Shears Inn around 10am today, in particular, we would like to speak to the driver of a blue Audi A1.”
