A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a serious three-vehicle crash on the A346 at Collingbourne Ducis.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 10am on April 19 after a collision involving a Land Rover, a Volkswagen ID3 and a motorbike.
The rider, a man in his 40s, suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital in Southampton. Despite the efforts of medical teams, he has sadly died.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that the man’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.
The stretch of road was closed for several hours following the crash as emergency services responded and investigators began their work.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who saw the collision, or who may have dash cam footage from the area around the time, is urged to get in touch.
