New images of missing Salisbury woman, Lynne, released by police

NEW pictures showing missing Downton woman Lynne have been released by police as the search for her continues.

The 69-year-old is pictured getting off a bus in Breamore, near Downton, at 6.53pm on Thursday, March 21 – the day she was last seen.

She is shown wearing a hat, navy coat and gloves.

Detective Inspector Guy Williams said: “We know that Lynne got off the bus at Breamore – a rural area just over the border in Hampshire and about three miles to her home in Downton.

“We are now calling on anyone in the area to contact us if they remember seeing Lynne. We are asking landowners in the area to check sheds and outbuildings.

“Additionally anyone who may have dash cam or CCTV footage taken from the evening of March 21 to please review any recordings.”

Lynne was reported missing last week and Wiltshire Police detectives have been piecing together her movements by tracking CCTV footage and appealing to members of the public for information.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, or who may have seen her, should contact police on 101, quoting incident reference 54240033697.
