New logo launched to celebrate Amesbury’s identity

AMESBURY has unveiled a new community logo designed to give groups, schools, businesses and charities a shared identity and a fresh way to celebrate the town.

The new design, announced by Amesbury Town Council, was created through a series of community workshops led by Overt Design, using money from the Wiltshire Towns Fund.

Th town council said the logo reflects what makes Amesbury unique, drawing inspiration from the town’s rich history, green spaces, strong community spirit and close military connections.

The launch forms part of a wider effort to strengthen Amesbury’s identity and raise its profile for both residents and visitors.

Under the council’s Strategic Plan, Amesbury aims to develop a stronger town brand while celebrating its heritage and promoting local culture.

The logo will be available for use by a wide range of organisations, including local businesses, schools, sports clubs, charities and community groups.

It can be featured on posters, websites, social media, signs and promotional materials, helping organisations show their connection to the town – provided it is used in line with official guidance.

Amesbury Town Council hopes the shared branding will help bring the community together and strengthen local pride as the town continues to grow and evolve.
