A NEW private GP offering specialist medical services such as weight loss injections has opened in Ringwood.

The Dr Helen Medical clinic, found at Suite 1 Endeavour House, Crow Arch Lane, is open seven days a week and offers same-day GP appointments and travel vaccinations, as well as ear, nose and throat, paediatrician and dermatology services.

The new clinic is a sister clinic to the already established Dr Helen Allergy, operating from the same premises.

It was created after Dr Helen spoke to many patients and families who were unable to access care they wanted and needed at a time convenient to them.

Dr Lexi said that weight loss treatments are readily being offered online without a thorough medical consultation, she felt this was a vital service to develop.
