FIREFIGHTERS were called to a dramatic overnight barn fire in Laverstock after a Land Rover burst into flames and the blaze spread to the building.
Emergency crews rushed to the agricultural fire at around 2.40am on Friday, June 13, with teams from Salisbury and Wilton working together to bring the incident under control.

Salisbury’s on-call firefighters were first at the scene, supported by Salisbury wholetime crews and firefighters from Wilton.

When crews arrived, they found a Land Rover Defender “well alight” inside a barn, with flames already spreading to the structure.
Firefighters quickly launched an operation to tackle the blaze and stop it spreading further.
Wilton Fire Station said both its pumping appliance and water carrier were mobilised in the early hours to support the response and help maintain water supplies during the incident.

Crews described the incident as a challenging fire requiring a swift response and coordinated firefighting efforts.
No injuries have been reported.
Photos shared by firefighters show the scale of the response as crews battled the flames in the early hours to prevent further damage to the agricultural building.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
