A PETROL lawnmower and a leaf blower were stolen from a garage.

Police are investigating a burglary at a garage in Chute Forest overnight between 7pm on November 2 and 10.15am the following morning.

The thieves made off with a petrol lawnmower and a petrol leaf blower after searching the premises.

PC Graeme Thompson, of Wiltshire Police, said: “There have been similar incidents reporting within a mile radius of this incident and we are keeping an open mind as to whether these are linked.

“We have been conducting enquiries however to date we have not been able to identify the offenders.

“We’d urge anyone with information, including any relevant doorbell or CCTV footage, to get in touch.”
