POLICE want to hear from a woman who was nearly hit by a car during a police pursuit in Bemerton Heath.

The incident unfolded between around 1.55pm and 2.05pm, when Wiltshire Police officers were engaged in a short pursuit involving a red Ford KA.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have dashcam of the pursuit to please get in touch,” a spokesperson said.

“We would also like to appeal directly to a female pedestrian who was walking on Roman Road in Salisbury at 1.57pm and was nearly struck by a vehicle to contact us to ensure she is okay.

“She had brown hair and was wearing a blue and white patterned dress.”
