A 49-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested after a crash in Ferndown on Wednesday evening (August 26).
Police said the crash, involving a black Nissan Qashqai and a silver car, happened in Church Road at around 5pm.
No injuries were reported after the incident, though police sent to the scene arrested a woman from Ferndown on suspicion of driving offences.
She has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
PC Halle Meeks, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and are appealing to any witnesses to come forward.
“We understand that details were exchanged between those involved but the driver of the silver car left the scene before the arrival of officers and we have not yet been able to locate her.
“If this was you, please get in touch as we are keen to speak with you to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
