CARE home residents in Wilton let their inner child out this Easter as they took part in an eggs-tensive range of Easter activities.
Wilton Place Care Home pulled out all the stops for their residents last week, as staff organised an Easter egg hunt and themed crafts for them to enjoy.
This saw residents take part in an Easter raffle and a Palm Sunday service as well as finishing off some toasted hot cross buns.

They also tucked in to a delicious Easter meal, courtesy of head chef Hayley Dibden who outdid herself with her tender minted lamb roast dinner and a mini egg cheesecake, which received high praise from residents.
General manager Antoinette Roberts said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter.

“It’s such a nice time of the year – the residents really appreciated their Easter eggs! It’s really been an eggs-cellent day!”
Resident ambassador Pat said: “It has been a lovely day, although like every Easter, I think I’ve eaten too much chocolate!
“It was so wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort. I really enjoyed the Easter themed activities and, of course, wearing my Easter bunny ears.”
