Residents enjoy taste of Spain at Wilton care home

RESIDENTS at Wilton Place Care Home were transported to the Mediterranean during a special Spanish-themed evening packed with authentic food, fond memories and lively conversation.

The event saw residents enjoy a menu inspired by Spain, beginning with fresh bread served alongside oils and olives before tucking into a traditional paella.

Dessert was a creamy crema catalana, accompanied by a glass of Spanish wine.

But the evening was about more than just food.

Residents also practised common Spanish phrases and shared stories of memorable holidays abroad, sparking conversations and laughter as they reminisced about past adventures.

Care home manager Antoinette said: “Wilton Place residents always look forward to our themed supper nights, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have talented chefs who bring flavours from around the world to life for these special evenings.”
