A SALISBURY car wash has applied for permission to install new gazebos to keep cars covered.
Top Wash, at 82 Southampton Road, has lodged a planning application with Wiltshire Council for three coverings.
If approved, two gazebos would be installed for “valeting purposes”, with one sun shade erected over the “car wash prewash pad”, the application said.
The plan could see the workforce at the car wash doubled to 10 – with six full-time employees and four part-time.
There would be no change to the car wash opening hours, the application added.
