A SALISBURY care home celebrated its 20th anniversary with a tasty event.

Milford House marked 20 years of serving the Salisbury community with a Summer BBQ gathering, with staff, residents and guests enjoying good food and live music.

The home regularly holds events and activities for residents and neighbours.

Originally built as a private home for the Earl of Ilchester, Milford House has been refurbished and extended, providing a mix of old architectural charm and purpose-built accommodation.

General manager, Abhishek Bagchi, said: “It is important to recognise the hard work of our staff here at Milford House.

“For the past 20 years, we have provided a caring home for our residents as well as the best possible environment for our staff.

“(The anniversary event) not only enables us to celebrate their hard work, but it’s also an opportunity to thank the residents, their relatives and friends who have made Milford House a loving home.”
