CUBS across Salisbury competed in a football tournament earlier this month.
The Salisbury & South Wilts District Cub six-a-side football tournament took place on May 11 at Barry’s Field in Winterslow, provided by Clarendon Juniors Football Club.
Eight teams played, and each completed seven games each on two pitches, with games running for 10 minutes.
The winning team was a composite team of three 4th Salisbury (Harnham Cubs) and three Bourne Valley Cubs forming a super six for the afternoon’s competition, winning six of their seven games.
The winners trophy will be shared between the two packs.

Harnham Cub team leader Jonathan Davidson said: “The facilities were fantastic and the pitches were in perfect condition with the sun shining overhead.
“All of the Cubs had a really great time showing great team spirit and sportsmanship. Thanks go to Paul Hardiman, the district team leader for Cubs, for organising.”
