Salisbury Guildhall to come alive with dance music later this month

PREPARE to transport yourself back to the golden era of dance music as the Guildhall Sessions presents an electrifying 90s house night.

People are being asked to bring their dancing shoes to Salisbury Guildhall on September 20 from 7pm to 11pm for an evening filled with iconic beats and nostalgic tunes to celebrate the best of house music across the 90s.

Expect to hear everything from Deee-Lite to Livin’ Joy to Nightcrawlers.

A spokesperson for the event organisers, Salisbury City Council, said: “The beautiful historic building transforms into a grown-up dance venue, no sticky floors in sight!”

“With music curated for over 30s, you can have a boogie like you used to and still be home in time not to ruin your Saturday! All those 18 and above are welcome.

“We are so pleased to be welcoming Rock the Boat to start the evening off, and welcoming  back DJ Bong to end the night.

“Plus Sips are back with the coolest bar around, and Terraform bringing the cubic visual vibes.

“There will be no Spice Girls, no Britpop and no grunge. Maybe next time!”

Tickets are £13 in advance, available to purchase here, and £18 on the door (subject to availability). Doors open at 6:30pm.
